Hello again
In the same way the blossoming Jacarandas of Pretoria alert Tuks students that they should already be studying, the onset of Spring is our annual ‘nudge’ to start taking bookings for our year-end Audiobook recording season.
Once again this year, Winter became Spring overnight in Joburg - and we went from cozy fireplaces and layers to plakkies and sunblock… in the same week! And yes I know we’ll still have two (maybe three) cold snaps, but allow me this little moment of joy :-)
Anyhoo, back to the reason for this mail…
December and January are Solid Gold’s traditional Audiobook recording months.
This aligns with a traditional year-end slowdown, and a period when authors can actually take a break, take a breath, and take the time to be in the studio with us for the hours and days it takes to record the spoken versions of their Kindle babies.
